
Ophelia Battle is the Advancement and Relationship Manager for the Asheville Buncombe County Land Trust, where she strengthens community partnerships and advances the organization’s mission through relationship-building, strategic communication, and thoughtful engagement. With a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Loyola University New Orleans and more than seven years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, and digital strategy, Ophelia brings a strong foundation in brand development, creative storytelling, and campaign management—expertise well-suited to mission-driven, grassroots organizations.
Coming from a military family with roots across the South, Ophelia spent much of her life in New Orleans, LA, an experience that shaped her deep appreciation for culture and community resilience. She is passionate about bridging gaps in communication and resources to help communities thrive. Outside of her professional work, she can be found tending to her garden or experimenting in the kitchen!
