Katherine Van Marter

Katherine was born and raised outside Atlant, Georgia. Katherine moved to Asheville in 2018 to be closer to family and pursue a more traditional legal career, practicing litigation in federal court and handling both residential and commercial real estate transactions before forming her own firm. Active in our community, she is a member of the Buncombe County Bar, serving on its Executive Committee, and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Real Property Section.

Away from work, Katherine takes full advantage of all the outdoor activities that Western North Carolina has to offer with her pups, Candler and Gerald, and enjoys traveling, tunes, and tacos.
