Kimberly Collins is a passionate community advocate, born and raised in Asheville. She grew up in the Montford area, which was rich in activities and care, before Urban Renewal uprooted the community. She is also deeply connected to and a current resident of the historic East End/Valley Street Neighborhood, where she and neighbors successfully fought off a 20-story hotel in 2024. After graduating with two degrees from UNC-Charlotte, Kimberly has been a Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant, Executive Consultant Recruiter, and a board member of the Asheville-Buncombe Community Land Trust.
